When James and Hannah approached us, their goal was to add significant living space to their charming Surrey home without compromising its classic aesthetics. The couple desired a master bedroom with an en-suite and a small office area, making the most of their loft’s potential. The existing loft had limited space and low headroom, which required creative design solutions to maximise the usable area. We introduced a Full Rear Dormer conversion, which not only enhanced the headroom but also allowed for large windows that flooded the new spaces with natural light. This choice was integral in maintaining the home’s traditional look while providing the modern functionality James and Hannah needed.
